How do I get started with StructureGram?

I'm new to StructureGram and want to create my first entity diagram. What are the basic steps to get started?

I have a family group with several companies and trusts that I need to visualize.

Welcome to StructureGram! Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Create Your Entities

Start by adding the key people and organizations:

  • Individuals: Add family members, directors, trustees
  • Companies: Add companies with their details
  • Trusts: Add any trust structures

Step 2: Define Relationships

Once entities exist, connect them:

  • Family relationships (spouse, parent/child)
  • Ownership (shareholdings, unit holdings)
  • Roles (director, trustee, beneficiary)

Step 3: View Diagrams

Go to the Diagrams section to see:

  • Ownership Diagram: Shows ownership chains
  • Family Tree: Shows family relationships

Tip: Start with the main individual and work outward!
