Learn how to use StructureGram

Understanding StructureGram

StructureGram is a diagramming tool built for Australian lawyers, financial advisers, and accountants. You give it your client entity and relationship data. It turns that data into accurate, polished structure diagrams automatically.

The Problem with Generic Diagramming Tools

Tools like Lucidchart, Visio, and Draw.io are digital whiteboards. They give you shapes and arrows. Everything else is on you — drawing each entity, connecting each relationship, making it look professional. For complex structures, that's a lot of work.

The deeper problem is that these tools don't understand what they're drawing. A trust is just a rectangle. A directorship is just an arrow. Without context, they can't help you beyond the basics.

StructureGram Speaks Your Language

StructureGram knows what an SMSF is. It knows what a shareholder is. It knows what a Family Trust Election is. That context is what allows StructureGram to do the work for you.

Give it your data. It builds the diagram. When something changes, update the data — the diagram updates too. No redrawing. No reformatting.

Built Around How You Already Work

StructureGram is a Xero Partner, so if your practice uses Xero Practice Manager, your client data can be synced across directly. You can also import data straight from ASIC. StructureGram fits into your existing workflows — not the other way around.

Why It Matters

Complicated structures are hard to communicate. A clear diagram changes that — for you and for your client. When a client can see that their circumstances are understood, that builds trust. Professional services run on trust.
